Join us for a 5k run to support Marquette’s Lakeview Arena.

5K Race Information

The race starts in front of Hockeyville USA 2016 winner: Lakeview arena. The course heads along the bike path passing the beautiful picnic rocks continuing down past McCarty’s cove, the Historic lighthouse with the turn around just prior to Mattson lower harbor park. After the turn runners will retrace their steps to picnic rocks. Then continue along bike path, paralleling Lakeshore Blvd, crossing Pine street and taking the bike path back to the finish at Lakeview Arena.



Queen City Running Company: Kids 1-Mile Race

Starts in front of Lakeview going to Lakeshore Blvd taking a sharp left and then following the end of the 5K finish. All kids receive a finishers award.

Following the race there will be refreshments and fruit provided by Tadych’s Econo Foods. An awards ceremony will be take place immediately following the kids race. The concession stand will be open to enjoy a post race meal or treat. Old timer hockey action will be going on inside Lakeview. Enjoy free admission with your race bib.

The 5K start and finish is in front of Lakeview Arena. Start by running toward the lake on Fair Ave, cross Lakeshore Drive to the bike path and head south towards the Coast Guard station. Shortly after the passing the Coast Guard Station, turn around and head back toward Lakeview. Continue past Fair Ave to the intersection of Pine and Lakeshore Drive. Turn left and follow the bike path along Pine Street back to the finish at Lakeview Arena.

Since this is an Out-and-Back course, please stay to the right side of the path to allow racers a clear path.
